Dallas Comedy House took a bath in funny pheromones then baited in talent from across the country for this year's Dallas Comedy Festival, which runs from March 27 through April 1. The line-up looks slammin,' and we'll have interviews with the comedians up until the fest kicks off, so that you can get to know these folks a little better before you spend an evening in their company. DCF is now accepting entries for the DCF Comedy Short Film Contest! Exposure of your film, DCF All Access Badges, DIFF Passes, and cash prize of $250 all land in the lap of the grand prize winner! DCF is thrilled to bring comedy short films to the festival this year in an effort to create more awareness of comedy shorts! "Watching talented, funny people come together to create silly stuff is one of my favorite things. Shorts are awesome for that," said Landon Kirksey, one of the producers for DCF 2012. Entries are due March 18, 2012 @ 10PM. Online voting will begin March 19, 2012. The eight finalists receiving the most votes will screen their comedy short at Dallas Comedy House on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 7PM. The winner will be announced then and rewarded handsomely! Rich Talarico, one of DCF's headliners and instructors, was just hired as a Season 2 Staff Writer for Comedy Central's Key & Peele. Key and Peele first aired on January 31, 2012 on Comedy Central, following the hit show Tosh.0 Key and Peele already has a cult following in just under month and the show has been renewed for a second season that will debut in Fall of 2012.
