GALAPAGOS (Phoenix)
Emerging
from the desert metropolis of Phoenix, Galapagos shakes down a
suggestion, starts with a palette of Harold, and lets the moment and
group mind mutate it. One of Phoenix's pioneering forces of longform,
Galapagos shines light upon the mundane to find the twisted, peppers
absurdity into the everyday, and divines truth from it all. Over the
past seven years, Galapagos has performed all across Arizona and around
the country, including the Chicago Improv Festival, the Los
Angeles Improv Festival, the Toronto Improv Festival, the New Orleans
Improv Festival, the Hawaii Improv Festival, and the Denver Improv Festival. Galapagos is also proud
to be one of the founding ensembles of The Torch Theatre and is super
pleased to return for the Dallas Comedy Festival for the third year!
