FREE SCREENING on Saturday, March 24th @ 7:30PM at Dallas Comedy House. 
The winner will be determined by 50% audience votes and 50% panel of judges!

RULES AND REGULATIONS

CONTEST DESCRIPTION:
Contest begins February 18, 2012 and ends at 10PM on March 18, 2012. All entries must be submitted by 10PM on March 18, 2012 to be considered for the contest. All comedy short films must be no longer than 5 minutes in duration. Any film over 5 minutes will be disqualified. The eight finalists will be determined by online votes. Online voting will begin March 19, 2012 and will end at 11:59PM on March 23, 2012. The top eight finalists will be showcased at a free screening at the Dallas Comedy House on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 7:30PM. Audience and DCF panel will determine the winner. Grand prize winner will receive: $250 cash prize, (2) All-Access Show Badges to the 2012 Dallas Comedy Festival, (4) Film Tickets to the 2012 Dallas International Film Festival, your film featured throughout the Dallas Comedy Festival, your film featured on the home page of DCHTV.net for the month of April.

HOW TO ENTER:
Fill out and submit entry form. Send your completed film using YOUSENDIT.com to the following account:

DCF will notify you when the film is received.

TERMS OF ENTRY:
By participating in the Contest, you represent and warrant that your Film (a) is your original work and owned exclusively by you; (b) does not infringe or violate the rights of any third party, including, without limitation, copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, rights of publicity or privacy, moral rights, or any other intellectual property rights; (c) is not subject to any third party agreements, and that Sponsor will not be required to pay or incur any sums to any person or entity as a result of its ownership, acquisition, use or exploitation of the Film or rights therein; and (d) does not contain any content that is likely to be considered offensive by the Sponsor or could adversely affect the name, reputation, or goodwill of Sponsor. Entries must be received by Sponsor by March 18, 2012 @ 10PM to be eligible.
